Our Winners
Following the results of the XXV Spartakiad of NAC Kazatomprom, UMP team once again confirmed its status as one of the strongest teams, winning first place in the overall team standings.
Vladimir Vakhnenko, Senior Deputy Executive Board Chairman– Chief Operating Officer who personally attended the award ceremony and the games of the spartakiad, noted:
«The team was organized and truly united. Each participant felt the support of their teammates. All the athletes performed with total dedication. Even where we didn’t manage to reach the podium, good results were achieved. For example, the football players significantly improved their performance compared to previous competitions. Despite the difficult weather conditions and high workload, our athletes showed character, endurance and the will to win.»
The UMP team won podium places in seven disciplines: track and field, table tennis, badminton, arm wrestling and volleyball – 1st place; basketball – 2nd place; esports – 3rd place.
Chess and football players also showed decent results. The victory was the well-deserved outcome of serious training and the desire of every athlete to show a great result.
