Message from the President: In the Age of Artificial Intelligence
On 8 September, the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, delivered his latest Address to the people of Kazakhstan, entitled ‘Kazakhstan in the era of artificial intelligence: current challenges and their solutions through digital transformation’.
Nuryimbet Sakhtaganov, Akim of East Kazakhstan Region and Sergey Mekhnin, a 5th-grade Dosimetrist of the Radiation Safety Group of the Test Centre and a representative of a labour dynasty, took part in this event on behalf of East Kazakhstan Region. UMP took part in such a significant event for the first time.
The President raised such pressing issues as economic diversification, development of artificial intelligence, creation of an investment climate and conditions for doing business, large-scale digital modernization of the economy, and construction of a NPP and gave relevant instructions.
