Thus, based on NAC Kazatomprom JSC competition results in 2020 Alexander Shushanikov, Master Mechanic of B workshop is awarded with the II grade Diploma and wage bonus in the amount of KZT 300,000 as the winner in the nomination of The Best Innovator. The same award in the nomination of The Best Young Innovator is presented to Anton Dolganov, Process Engineer of P workshop, Pellet Production Section.

Alexander Shushanikov graduated from East Kazakhstan State Technical University having received the qualification of a mechanical engineer in Automobile and Tractor Engineering. He employed in UMP as the 5 grade repair mechanic in March 2015. A year later, he upgraded his category to 6. Alexander has been working as a Master Mechanic since June 2019.

Alexander Shushanikov was awarded with acknowledgement certificate for his dedicated work and innovative activity seven times. Despite his work, our hero is fond of skiing.

– Alexander, is this your first acknowledgement from NAC Kazatomprom?

– Yes, this is my first diploma of such a level.

– Is the victory a surprise for you?

– Yes, to be honest, it was unexpected. I didn»t think I could be a winner, but I tried.

– How many innovative proposals did you submitted?

– At the moment, eleven.

– Tell us more about them.

– They are about technical equipment repair in the shortest possible time, as well as saving material and spare parts, minimizing the spare parts purchase cost for repair works.

– What are your plans for the future?

– I'm not going to stop. I will bring new ideas to life.

– What personal characteristics are the most important for an innovator in your opinion?

– I think an innovator shall be active, initiative, insistent and result oriented.

Anton Dolganov graduated from the same university as Alexander. He is a Bachelor of Metallurgy and a Master of Engineering. He employed in the plant as the 5 grade operator in October 2014. In 2016 he was transferred to the position of Shift Foreman, P workshop, Pellet Production Section. Since May 2019, he has been working as a Process Engineer in the same section.

Anton has a number of acknowledgement certificates, most of which were given for active innovative activity.

– Anton, is it your first award from NAC Kazatomprom?

– If my recollection is correct, this is the first time (smiles).

– Is this diploma a surprise for you?

– Yes, a very pleasant surprise.

– How many innovative proposals did you submit?

– About twenty.

– How did your proposals influence the production?

– Positively. Working conditions of some areas were improved and the work of the section workers was facilitated.

– What are your plans for the future?

– I will continue my work in the innovative direction.

– What is the most important thing for an innovator?

– Probably a sense of responsibility for what we do.
