Despite the impact of pandemic, the outgoing year turned out to be rich in production (and not only) events. We offer you a brief excursion and the latest history of the plant.

The Sole Shareholder owning all voting shares of UMP JSC decided to prematurely terminate the powers of the Chairman of UMP JSC Board of Directors, Mr. Baurzhan Ibrayev, and elect Mr. Mazhit Sharipov as the Chairman of UMP JSC Board of Directors for the period up to the end of the term of office of the Board of Directors as a whole. This decision shall come into effect on January 1, 2021.

On December 23, within the framework of a working trip to the East Kazakhstan Region, Minister of Ecology, Geology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Magzum Mirzagaliev visited the plant.

And now let's fast forward from St. Petersburg of the XX century to the XXI century at UMP. Not everyone knows, but our enterprise is also a power transmission organization. Therefore, the Power Engineer's Day is a professional holiday for many Ulba residents! The plant has a department of the chief power engineer (CPE) and an power center (PC). To get acquainted with their activities, we met with Evgeny Efimov, the chief power engineer of UMP JSC.
